I'm Jennifer Lee, a mix of Australian, Chinese and a smudge of Italian descent. I am a fashion design graduate that fell into the big and beautiful world of hospitality. While living in London I gained experience as a cook, a bartender and manager. My constant passion for food and creating recipes is fueled by the people around me, the places I travel to and history.
I've owned an organic bakery and catering business in my hometown, ventured to Asia and set up a cafe in Singapore, gained experience on my travels through Europe, in particular, Sicily before deciding to head to Mexico for a year. It was in Latin America while working as a baker & restaurant critic I developed my creative food platform known as SHHH!!
I was the head chef of a Latin American bar and kitchen Vasco and represented Latin American cuisine in Taiwan for DBS Treasures and also in Sri Lanka as part of the Colombo Supper Club. I have appeared in a variety of publications in Asia and was one of the top four finalists in Eatliststar, a TV show searching for a culinary food host.
I now find great joy working as a private chef, food writer and designer as well as being a mum to my fur baby, Molly. I travel when and where I can to gain inspiration and insight into the culinary delights and cultures of the region I live in.
I am also currently in the process of developing my label Mizbeth , Asia's first chef wear clothing line made for women which will launch this year.
